A day in North Carolina

Last Sunday we went for lunch to Knotts Island in North Carolina. I have the ambition to visit all US states, but I’m not sure how should I count this. Will the day matter or does it have to be overnight stay?

Anyway we found one and the only one “restaurant” on the island, and (not) surprisingly we had fish for lunch. We looked foreign, we felt foreign and even the “locals” talk to us and told us we looked like we were not from here/there. The island has 4000 residents so I guess everybody knows everyone.

Nevertheless, it was a nice way to spend a day…
